Hurricane Shoals Nature Trail
The Hurricane Shoals Nature Trail is one of the best ways to enjoy the rugged beauty of the North Oconee River and enjoy the park. The trail is roughly 1 mile in length as it loops through the interior of the park. The trail head and kiosk are located right off of the parking lot near the covered bridge on the interior of the park. For a copy of the trail map click the PDF icon below or here.
The trail first began in 1979 and has been maintained and worked on many times over the years by the Jackson County Parks and Recreation department as well as local Boy Scout Troops 35 and 158. The trail currently has six benches to sit on and to rest and enjoy the trail.
