7:15-9:00 AM - Maysville and Jefferson Entrances to Park CLOSED to traffic – Foot Traffic ONLY


8:00 AM - 5K MILL RACE


9:00 AM - Race Awards in Amphitheater


10:00-6:00 PM - FESTIVAL OPENS – ART & CRAFTS BOOTHS – paintings, pottery, jewelry, wood & leather crafts, handmade soaps & oils and blacksmith; Educational Exhibits; Food Booths open among art vendors - BBQ at TWS Concession Stand; CHILDREN’S ART in Heritage Village Veal Cabin and Cross Roads School & in Pavilion #4; KIDS ZONE - (by Concession Stand) inflatables, face painting, petting zoo, ponies & puppet shows; TWS Table (Maysville side of Shoals) opens – ducks, t-shirts & cornmeal for sale; GRIST MILL operating, cornmeal for sale; Cornbread, fritters, beans & cobbler at Pethel Cabin; Play Miniature GOLF at “Spirit of the River” Golf Course
 

10:00-6:00 - PM In HERITAGE VILLAGE - Living History in the 1800’s Village – handmade items from 1800’s for sale; Tours of Cabins with biographical video in Freeman Cabin; Blacksmith, Folk Art and Historical Craft demonstrations and sales; Story Time by Piedmont Regional Library in the Cross Roads School 10-5 pm

CIVIL WAR Union and Confederate Camps with drills, history & period music; military and civilian wares for sale from Sutlers: Bonnie Blue Sutlery, Rum Creek, Belle Sisters Apothecary, Charleston Tintypist, Southern Family Impressions & Ole Doc Bell Root Beer

 
10:00-3:00 PM Miles Wilson Matthews Chapel in Heritage Village – SOUTHERN GOSPEL MUSIC– Jam Session with Dugar Strickland, Robin Dyer & Friends – amplified music

 

11:00 AM In Heritage Village – Civil War Medical Demonstration beside Chaplain’s Quarters and Calvary       Competition below Freeman Cabin
 

12:00 noon In Amphitheater - Children’s Art Contest winners announced

12:30-5:30 PM - FESTIVAL OPENS – ART Booths open – CHILDREN’S ART on display; Food Booths open and BBQ at Concession Stand; Cornbread, beans & cobbler at Pethel Cabin; KIDS ZONE – inflatables & activities; Miniature Golf open to public; TWS Table (Maysville side of Shoals) opens – ducks and corn meal for sale; GRIST MILL open, grinding cornmeal for sale


12:30-5:30 PM - In HERITAGE VILLAGE - Tours; Living History in the 1800’s Village; Folk Art/Historical Craft demonstrations/sales including Blacksmith;  

CIVIL WAR Union and Confederate Camps with history, cooking & period music: 

military and civilian wares for sale from Sutlers; period music around encampments
