Pavilion Rental

1. Reservations for the Park pavilions are made on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations for each calendar year will be taken beginning the first business day after the New Year's holiday. No reservations will be taken for the weekend of Art in the Park festival.
2. Reservations may be made in person at the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Department, located at 1801 County Farm Road, Jefferson, or by mail. Please call for current rates. The fee must be paid before a reservation is confirmed. Individuals who mail in a reservation will be confirmed only if there is a space available at the time the request is processed by the recreation office. A written confirmation/receipt will be given to the reserving party.
3. Reservations should be made for the date, hours, and specific pavilion location. Pavilions can be reserved and used during normal Park hours only. Pavilions will not be held for two hours past the reserved starting time. If the party does not show by this time, the pavilion will be released for other Park visitors to use. Special reservation times may be made if requested and approved by the director of Parks and Recreation.
4. Reservation Fees are non-refundable with the following exceptions:

• If any party chooses to cancel a reservation two or more weeks in advance, a partial refund will be issued.
• A waiver of the reservation fee may be granted to community-wide civic groups, school groups, or Jackson County Church groups. However, in the event that such a group has reservation but fails to show up on its scheduled date without two weeks advance notice, Jackson County reserves the right to bill the group to replace lost revenue. Pastors and principals must sign for church and/or school groups.

Often the more popular pavilions are reserved weeks, even months in advance. The set procedures are set forth to provide a higher degree of probability that all parties have an opportunity to use the pavilions. Reserving the pavilions and not using them potentially denies someone else the opportunity to use the pavilions of their choice. The fee is necessary to help cover some of the expense of Park and pavilion maintenance.

All picnic tables are on a first come, first serve basis. We can not reserve picnic tables on a day to day basis.
