Directions to the Park
416 Hurricane Shoals Road, Maysville, GA 30558
From Atlanta:
Take Interstate 85 N north from Atlanta. Exit at Dry Pond Exit #140. Turn right onto GA Highway 82. Follow GA 82 until it dead ends (GA 82 will turn right) and turn left onto GA 82 SPUR. Proceed on GA 82 SPUR toward Maysville, cross over Interstate 85 and go less than one mile. The Jefferson entrance to Hurricane Shoals Park will be on your right before crossing the North Oconee River Bridge. The second (Maysville) entrance is across the bridge, also on the right.

From Athens: Take US Highway 129 north from Athens. Turn right at the first light in Jefferson onto Lee Street and proceed through downtown Jefferson and public square (two more lights). Lee Street will become Sycamore Street. After crossing Curry Creek and the second light, the road will soon split. Take the LEFT split onto GA Highway 82 toward Maysville. GA 82 will become GA 82 SPUR. Proceed to cross over Interstate 85 and go less that one mile. The Jefferson entrance to Hurricane Shoals Park will be on your right before crossing the North Oconee River Bridge. The second (Maysville) entrance is across the bridge, also on the right.

From Jefferson:
From Jackson County Courthouse proceed to the light at the public square in Jefferson. Turn left onto Sycamore Street. After crossing Curry Creek and the second light, the road will soon split. Take the LEFT split onto GA Highway 82 toward Maysville. GA 82 will become GA 82 SPUR. Proceed to cross over Interstate 85 and go less that one mile. The Jefferson entrance to Hurricane Shoals Park will be on your right before crossing the North Oconee River Bridge. The second (Maysville) entrance is across the bridge, also on the right.

From Commerce:
From the light in the center of downtown Commerce, go north on North Broad Street, through the second light (Hardee's on the left) to the triangle in front of the State Farm Office. Turn left and then right at the light onto GA Highway 98. Proceed north toward Maysville, go over Interstate 85 to Wheeler Cemetery Road and turn left. Follow Wheeler Cemetery Road until it dead ends into GA Highway 82 SPUR. Turn left and the Maysville entrance to the Hurricane Shoals Park will be on the left. The second (Jefferson) entrance is further up GA 82 SPUR, across the North Oconee River bridge and is also on the left.

From Gainesville:
Take US Highway 129 south from Gainesville. Cross over Interstate 85 and proceed on Jefferson By-pass to the first traffic light. Turn left onto GA Highway 11 and proceed through downtown Jefferson. Go through three traffic lights and over Curry Creek. After the third light, the road will soon split. Take the LEFT split onto GA Highway 82 toward Maysville. GA 82 will become GA 82 SPUR. Proceed to cross over Interstate 85 and go less that one mile. The Jefferson entrance to Hurricane Shoals Park will be on your right before crossing the North Oconee River Bridge. The second (Maysville) entrance is across the bridge, also on the right.

From TANGER OUTLETS, Commerce:
From the Interstate 85 bridge near Tanger Outlets, go one block north on US Highway 441 to the light (Kentucky Fried Chicken on left) and turn left onto Steven B. Tanger Boulevard toward Tanger II. Go one block and turn right by Applebee's onto Ridgeway Church Road. Follow Ridgeway Church Road until it crosses over the railroad tracks and intersects with GA Highway 98. Cross over GA 98 and proceed straight on Wheeler Cemetery Road. Follow Wheeler Cemetery Road until it dead ends into GA Highway 82 SPUR. Turn left and the Maysville entrance to Hurricane Shoals Park will be on the left. The second (Jefferson) entrance in further up GA 82 SPUR, across the North Oconee River Bridge and is also on the left.
